Students for the Environment thinks about three key points when looking at a students usual routine. How does this habit affect the environment, what changes need to be made, and how can this be a fun process? Studies show that you are more likely to change a habit if you do it frequently and have dopamine hits while doing it; in layman's terms, have fun!
As adults dig our future generations into a deeper and deeper hole environmentally, the younger generations will need to step it up. The one way our younger generations will be taught why the environment is important is where they are taught everything, school. Here at Students for the Environment, we will not only teach the future generations how habits affect the environment and what changes we need to make, but how this can be a fun process.
Students for the Environment provide a unique view on such an important subject that affects us all. We realize it might be easier to use plastic utensils or throw recyclables into the trash. At Students for the Environment, we find fun solutions to these problems. These small habit changes made today lead to big changes tomorrow.
